Images of the 2022 Hyundai Creta facelift have surfaced online ahead of its global debut at the 2021 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS).
The major key highlight of the 2022 Hyundai Creta facelift is the new design language, Hyundai's Sensuous Sportiness design philosophy, similar to the new-gen Hyundai Tucson. The new Creta now gets a completely revised front grille with a parametric jewel pattern that integrates seamlessly into LED DRLs on both sides. The side profile of the upcoming Creta looks similar to the current model. At the rear, the compact SUV gets new C-shaped rectangular headlamps, a redesigned front bumper, a new fog lamp assembly and a silver-coloured faux skid plate.
Although the cabin looks identical to the outgoing model, the car gets added features like a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a premium 8-speaker Bose sound system, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, a panoramic sunroof, cooled glove box, ambient lighting, wireless charging, an air purifier etc. To keep up with the competition, Hyundai will provide the Advance Driver Assist Systems (ADAS) as seen on the MG Astor and other premium SUVs on the new Creta.
Powering the new Creta is a 1.5-litre petrol engine with 115PS/144Nm. However, in the Indian market, it should be offered with a a 1.5-litre diesel motor with 115PS/250Nm as well.
